How to Climb the Tower in Assassin's Creed 2

"Assassin's Creed 2" is a parkour-based third-person action adventure. In it, you play Ezio Auditore, a 15th-century assassin. One of the levels, "Sequence 7," sees you playing in a dream sequence as Altair from the first game. You must chase a mysterious woman through a town and up a tower. The tower itself is like any other tower in the game, but features a particular spot that can cause problems if you don't position yourself correctly and if you move your analog joystick at the wrong moment.

     Go up to the tower as the door closes. Climb up the tower to the balcony.

     Climb onto the balcony ledge and directly face the pole with the lantern hanging from it.

     Press and hold down the "R1" button on your PS3 controller or the right trigger on your Xbox 360 controller. Press the "X" button for PS3 or the "A" button for Xbox 360; you will jump onto the pole. Continue to climb up as you would any other tower.
