Level Select Passwords

• At the start menu, select "Options." Select the "Password" option and enter one of the following passwords to start at the corresponding level.

  Level 2 - INSULA

  Level 3 - CONDOR

  Level 4 - VIENNA

  Level 5 - AVALON

  Level 6 - DULCIS

Character Tips

• Play with Asterix to make the game easier. Asterix is much faster than Obelix and can fit into most spaces easily. Obelix is slower and must crawl through many small areas.

Inventory

• Remember to check your inventory. If you seem stuck, try using a different item. You can cycle through your inventory by holding up on the control pad and pressing the "C" button. Some, like Fireballs, are good for fighting enemies. Others, like the Ice Block which gives you a temporary place to stand (and looks like a cloud) are useful for solving puzzles.

Boss Battles

• The bosses, or big bad guys at the end of each level, can be very difficult. Each has their own weakness, however.

  Level 1 - Jump on the back of the man in the fish suit to throw fish at the other man in the tree house. Avoid getting hit by notes, they injure you.

  Level 2 - Keep punching the rockets back at the fort in the background. Eventually, it will surrender.

  Level 3 - Alternate pressing the A and B buttons back and forth as fast as possible to push the Roman off the log.

  Level 4 - Stand on the upper platform of the boat and allow the alligator to pass by. When it does, get behind it and start punching. Do not fall in the water or you will fail.

  Level 5 - Hit the tigers when they look out of one of the two arches, and avoid them when they charge past. They take about 10 hits each to defeat.
