How to Import Your Player to Mass Effect 2

One feature of the PC game, "Mass Effect 2," gives gamers the ability to import their character from the previous game, "Mass Effect," into the sequel. If you played "Mass Effect" and were intensely proud of the character you created and played as, you can continue that saga in the sequel. You just have to import your previous character through a specific screen within the game.

Instructions

  Insert your "Mass Effect 2" game disc into your computer. Click "Play" from the window that opens to load the game's main menu.

  Click "Configuration" on the game's main menu.

  Click "Save Games" from the "Configuration" menu.

  Click "Import." Select the save file that was created using the original "Mass Effect" from its location on your hard drive. Click the "Add" button to load the "Mass Effect" save file, along with all character information, into "Mass Effect 2."

  Click "Back" to return to the game's main menu. Your old character will be available when you play the game.
