How to Take Off the Treads on a Tank in Call of Duty: World at War

In the military-themed video game "Call of Duty: World at War" you will eventually come up against an enemy tank that you have to destroy. This tank operates similar to a tank in real life, using large iron treads for mobility and a rotating cannon to direct lethal fire at your position. The tank's armor protects it from many types of attacks, but blowing the treads off can cripple the machine. This will allow you to neutralize it effectively.

Instructions

  Move as close as you can to the treads of a tank, until you are within grenade range.

  Throw a sticky grenade at the treads of the tank. A sticky grenade is one that sticks to the target instead of bouncing off like a normal grenade. If your aim is inaccurate you may have to attempt this shot a few times before a grenade adheres to the treads.
- 3
  Run away from the sticky grenade. Because the grenade is stuck to the treads of the tank, the explosion will knock the treads off, rendering the tank immobile.
