How to Get to Zora's Layer in Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Released for the Nintendo 64 game console in 1998, "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" represented the first in Nintendo's renowned "Zelda" adventure-RPG franchise to feature 3D-world exploration. In this installment, Link, the green-capped hero of the series, must again save the princess Zelda from the evil wizard Ganondorf, traveling through fields, mountains, dungeons and, in the case of the Zora race, vast frozen kingdoms. Soon after completing Dodongo's Cavern, players must travel across Hyrule Field to Zora's River and find the entrance to Zora's Domain.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter Zora's River from Hyrule Field.

    • 2

Blow up the rocks that block the path with a bomb, then jump over the crevice to the other side.

    • 3

Avoid the Octorock, which will spit rocks at you from a distance. You can also get in close to take out the enemy with a few strikes of your sword.

    • 4

Follow the path to the gap in the river and jump into the water. Swim to the other side and take the path that leads right.

    • 5

Climb the ledge here, then walk across the next portion of the river (the water will be too shallow to swim) to the next ledge. Climb up this one as well.

    • 6

Cross the next section of the river and scale the hill on the other side. Follow this path to the bridge and take it across.

    • 7

Jump from platform to platform towards the waterfall at the end of the path.

    • 8

Play Zelda's lullaby directly in front of the waterfall and it will suddenly stop. Beneath the waterfall will be large opening. Jump inside to arrive at the entrance of Zora's Domain.
