How to Color Super Knuckles

Knuckles the Echidna began his story in "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" as the antagonist manipulated into believing Sonic was attempting to steal his Chaos Emerald. As the Sonic franchise progressed, Knuckles became an ally of Sonic, and featured heavily in the Sega Genesis release "Sonic &Knuckles." Gamers could connect "Sonic &Knuckles" to the two previous Sonic titles to play as Knuckles. This also allowed players to unlock Super Knuckles after obtaining all the Chaos Emeralds. Unlike Sonic's super form, Super Knuckles maintains his basic appearance but changes from his normal red color to a neon pink that appears to blaze with an inner light. This effect can be created in a drawing with standard crayons.

Instructions

    • 1

Print a line drawing of Knuckles by searching for "Knuckles coloring sheet."

    • 2

Color in Knuckles body with a pink crayon, leaving his shoes, gloves, eyes, mouth, nose and chest uncolored.

    • 3

Add a white line along the inside of Knuckles's limbs and tendrils with a white crayon, pushing hard enough to mix with the pink. This will give the edges a slight glow effect.

    • 4

Color Knuckles's shoe brims green. The main body of the shoe is red, and the side stripe is yellow. The sole of the shoe is purple and the top, which resembles a Lego brick, is grey.

    • 5

Color in the mouth area with a pale flesh-toned crayon. Fill in the nose with a black crayon, leaving the inner oval white.

    • 6

Color Knuckles's eyes brown, leaving the larger area of the eye white. Leave the chest crest and gloves white as well.

    • 7

Outline the entire picture of Knuckles in a thick pink line. Add a thinner white line over the center of the thick pink line, completing the glow effect of Super Knuckles.
