How to Get More Skins on Turok: Rage Wars

Changing the skin you're in is just part of the fun in "Turok: Rage Wars," a game released by Acclaim Entertainment in 1999 for the Nintendo 64. Players control Turok and other series character as they battle each other in death-match style first person shooter action. Each of the characters has a default appearance, but players can unlock new appearances by earning medals. For every two medals the player receives, a new skin is unlocked for one of the characters. In total, the game features 50 medals and 25 bonus skins. It doesn't matter what order your receive the medals in.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the single-player trials and beat each of the four bosses. In the process, you'll receive four medals and unlock two skins.

  Start a two-player game, select a Bloodlust level and set it to last for 10 minutes. Kill your opponent using each of your weapons, both with their primary and secondary attacks. Afterwards, play the same level from the mission tree, once again killing with every weapon. Do this with every level to receive 16 medals and 8 new skins.

  Begin a two-player team-based game: your team versus the other player's team. Once again, play through each level in both Bloodlust and the mission tree. Use every weapon and its secondary attack. You'll receive 10 medals and 5 new skins.

  Play through each of the levels twice with a four-player game. Do not select Bloodlust levels. Instead, only play through mission tree levels. Use every weapon and its secondary attack. You'll receive 6 medals and 3 new skins.

  Start a capture the flag game against one other player. Kill him with every weapon and its secondary attack. Grab all 10 flags. Repeat. You'll receive one medal.
- 6
  Begin a 5-minute game. Kill your opponent at least 15 times. You get one medal.
- 7
  Play a 10-minute game. Kill your opponent 25 times. You get another medal.
- 8
  Start a 10-minute game. Do not kill the enemy. Kill yourself by jumping into lava five times. You'll get 2 medals.
- 9
  Begin a four-player round. Kill fewer enemies than the other players. You'll get another medal.
- 10
  Play a 10-minute round. Use the plasma rifle's secondary attack to kill at least 10 players. You'll get one medal.
- 11
  Start another 10-minute round. Don't die to receive another medal.
- 12
  Kill at least 1,000 opponents. Get killed at least 1,000 times. You'll get a medal for setting each record.
