Cheats and Glitches in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Capture all Gold Skulltula Tokens

• Enter the gates around Hyrule Castle, near the moat. Turn right and walk until you come to a tree. Equip your ocarina and play the Song of Storms. Enter the hole that appears and kill the Skulltula you see. Stand in front of the glowing circle that will transport you back to Hyrule Castle. Use your boomerang to target the Skulltula token. Once the boomerang hits the token, backflip onto the glowing circle to transport back to the surface. Repeat this process to get infinite Skulltula tokens.

Remove Link's Sword Glitch

• During the battle with Ganon at Ganon's Castle, when he knocks the Master Sword away, quickly save your game and restart. Link will not have any sword. Pay to fish at the fishing pond near Lake Hylia. Use your hover boots to glide across the pond. Cast the fishing rod while you are hovering. Leave the pond and glide across Lake Hylia. Pause your game, then resume gameplay. Link will once again be without his sword.

Tilted Cartridge Glitch

• The tilted cartridge glitch could be potentially damaging to game data, and players should only ensue at their own risk. The tilted cartridge enables players to get past barriers, such as leaving Kokiri Forest and entering Hyrule without getting Mido's permission. Gently pull up on the left side of the game cartridge. Push the joystick forward until you are able to get past the barrier. Lift the left side a little more if it proves unsuccessful. Afterward, reinsert the cartridge fully into the Nintendo 64.

Cheat Codes

• Those who dreamed of a levitating Link or maximum health can now do so by entering two Nintendo 64 GameShark codes: "d01c84b50020 811daa9040cb" and "8111a5fe0140," respectively. Enter "8011a64b0008" to gain the Ocarina of Time or "8011a6490005 8011a64f000d 8011a6550013" to get all of the spells in "Ocarina of Time." Players may also find it useful to enter "8111a66c7777," which gives you all equipment in the game.

Use Items on Epona Cheat

• Players can now use all of their items while riding Epona. Save and quit during the battle against Ganon after he knocks the Master Sword away from the player. Travel to Hyrule Field and call for Epona, your horse, to come. Mount Epona. Press any of the "C" buttons to use the items you have equipped to those buttons.
