How to Activate Hyper Knuckles

Hyper Knuckles is only available to play in the 1994 Sega game "Sonic 3 &Knuckles." The best strategy to become Hyper Knuckles is to play through the game, looking out for the special big rings that you must leap through to begin your quest to make the transformation. Once you trigger Knuckles's special mode, you vanquish enemies by slamming into walls, setting off a huge quake.

  Locate the seven rings spread out over the first half of the game and jump through each one.

  Play through the Blue Spheres mini-game that you activate once you have jumped through one of these special rings.

  Pick up the Chaos Emerald found in each Blue Sphere mini-game.

  Go to the Sonic And Knuckles zone and leap into the giant flashing ring once you have seven Chaos Emeralds.

  Leap on to a Super Emerald.
- 6
  Use your new "Quake" ability to fly into walls, setting off a tremor that will defeat any small enemies.
