How to Kill Large Peahats

Peahats are an enemy found in Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda" video game series. Peahats are large plants with spinning petals that act like blades. Peahats can be found in many "Zelda" games, but the large versions are only encountered in "Ocarina of Time" and "Majora's Mask." You deal with them the same way in both games.

Instructions

    • 1

      Navigate to Hyrule Field. This is the primary area where large Peahats can be found. Wander around until you find one.

      Press the "Z" button to lock onto the large Peahat.

    • 3

      Shoot the Peahat using your slingshot, being careful to avoid the petal "blades."

    • 4

      Use the shield to deflect and destroy any small Peahats that the large Peahat shoots at you if it begins to fly.

    • 5

      Repeat this process until the Peahat is dead.
