How to Make a Cleaning Solution for an NES Cartridge

Most of the Nintendo NES that are still available have been played for many years and may be caked with dirt and other debris that makes it impossible for them to play. Before throwing it away or taking it in for repairs, try to clean it. Most of the time, the Nintendo and its game cartridges simply need to be cleaned in order to work right. Dirty cartridges can cause the Nintendo screen to turn blue, to blink or to shut off in the middle of the gaming session. Use a homemade cleaning solution to save money and keep gaming.
