If you're a fan of psychic kids that can pack a punch by creating psychic-powered bombs, you're probably a fan of Ness. The original "Super Smash Bros." for the Nintendo 64 features 12 characters, although you must unlock four of them, including Ness. His attacks consist mainly of psychic powers, which allow him to sit back and create havoc without endangering himself. As long as you can complete one player mode without dying, you will have no trouble unlocking Ness.

Start "Super Smash Bros." Click "1P Mode," then "1P Game."

Select your character. Click the right arrow next to "Level" to change the difficulty to "Normal." Leave the "Stock" at three.

Complete each level. You cannot click "Continue" if you die; you must start over. After you defeat Master Hand, Ness will appear. Defeat him and Ness will join you as an additional character in the game.
