"Bomberman 64"
"Bomberman 64" is a an action platformer developed by Hudson Soft for the Nintendo 64. The game marked the first time that the Bomberman series used three-dimensional graphics. Players assume control over Bomberman as he tries to stop the evil pirate leader Altair from destroying his home planet of Planet Bomber. Bomberman has the ability to create, kick, pick up and throw bombs at enemies and fortresses. Instead of jumping the normal way, Bomberman uses bomb explosions to leap past platforms.
"Bomberman: Act Zero"
"Bomberman: Act Zero" is an action shooter developed for the Xbox 360 in 2006. The video game features a radical departure in the Bomberman character. Instead of the cartoonish, white Bomberman, the main character resembles a mechanical cyborg. The game uses two-dimensional graphics and plays out in a single maze. Multiple Bombermen attack each other in a death match-type battle, in which players hit each other with bombs and special projectile attacks.
"Bomberman Live"
"Bomberman Live" is a downloadable video game for Xbox 360 consoles using Xbox Live Arcade. Developed by Backbone Entertainment, the game takes place in an arcade-style, two-dimensional maze. "Bomberman Live" includes two playable game modes: battle and tournament. In each type of game mode, between two or eight players are dropped down within a two-dimensional maze. A player, using the Bomberman character, has to strategically place bombs along the walls to clear paths and attack opponents.
"Bomberman Land"
"Bomberman Land" is an action game developed by Hudson Soft for the Nintendo Wii. The game takes full advantage of the Wii's motion controller. Bomberman takes place in an amusement park named Bomberman Land, where players compete in more than 40 different mini games. In a break from traditional Bomberman action, players win stages by doing activities such as racing carts, catching colored spheres and blowing up water balloons.
