Cheats for Super Return of the Jedi

Skip Levels

• This code will give you the option to skip any of the 20 stages in "Jedi." At the main menu, press "A," "A," "B," "B," "X," "X," "Y," "Y," "A," "B," "X," "Y," "A,", "B," "X," and then "Y." At any time during game play, hold down "B" and press "Start" on controller 1 to skip the level you're playing.

Unlimited Thermal Detonators

• Thermal detonators send a strong blast of power across the screen that will kill most enemies. For an unlimited supply of them, press "B," "X," "B," "X," "B," "X," "B," "B," "B," and then "Y" at the main menu.

Extra Continues

• Normally, the game gives you three continues before you get the "game over" notice. This cheat will give you seven continues. At the title screen, press "A," "B," "A," "Y," "A," and then "X" on controller 1.

Sound

• "Star Wars" is famous for its legendary score and sound effects. To play around with the sound testing menu, hold "Down"," "X," "Y," "B," "A," and "Start" at the title menu. You can now circle through all of the sounds from the game.

Invincibility

• The health bar can empty quickly on "Super Return of the Jedi," but it won't matter if you get invincibility. During the side-scrolling levels, hold "A", "B", "X", "Y" and then "Select."

Debug Menu

• Playing in the game debug menu means you can pick your character, stage, amount of lives, health and weapon. At the main menu, press "A," "A," "B," "B," "X," "X", "Y," "Y," "A," "B," "X," "Y," "A," "B," "X," and "Y." Hold "L" and "R" on controller 2 to pull up the debug menu during any side-scrolling level.

Level Passwords

• Each setting has three passwords, one for each difficulty level. The password allows you to jump to the level you're ready to play. For example, in the "Brave" difficulty setting, you would normally start at level 1. To reach level 2, type "BGFSMH." For level 3, type "JVPLHP" and for level 4 type "VDLBGG."
