Instructions

Spray the canned air into the opening of the game cartridge. This removes dust and debris stuck inside the cartridge.

    • 2

Dip a Q-Tip in rubbing alcohol, then gently rub the metal contacts inside the cartridge. If fibers of the Q-Tip start sticking to the cartridge, press more gently. This will remove corrosion that likely accumulated over the years.

    • 3

Wait ten to twenty seconds for the alcohol to dry, then spray the canned air into the cartridge again. This will remove any flaked off corrosion or dirt.

Insert the cartridge and turn on the console. If the game appears and is ready to play, congratulations! If the game still does not work, go to Step 5. You may have a problem inside your console.
