How to Make Your Player Progress in Madden 11

Madden '11 is the latest installment of the famous John Madden football video game series, which is available on a number of different gaming consoles. One of the features of the game allows you to start a franchise to try to create a football dynasty. You will draft players for your team and play as many football seasons as you would like. Just like in real life, the players on your team will progress and regress as the game goes on. Your players will have to play often and play well in order to progress. If they're riding the bench, you will see their skills regress at the end of each season.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch your Madden '11 video game and load your "Franchise Mode." If you haven't already started a franchise, you will have to do so now. This is the only way to help players progress through the season.

    • 2

Select to play the next game on your schedule.

    • 3

Choose the "Train Active Team For This Week" option. This option will be listed right before you confirm to start your scheduled game.

    • 4

Select the drills you would like to train. There are running, throwing, catching, kicking, blocking, and defensive drills available.

    • 5

Select a player on your roster to complete one of the drills. Running backs should complete the running drills, quarterbacks should complete the throwing drills, punters and kickers should complete the kicking drills, and defensive backs should complete the blocking and defensive drills.

    • 6

Complete the drills. Your player's skills will not immediately progress as soon as you finish training, but you will notice progress after multiple weeks of training.
