Fatality Tricks for Mortal Kombat Trilogy on N64

"Mortal Kombat Trilogy," is a popular video game for the N64 platform, where it was released in 1996. One of the game's most popular moves, the Fatality, is a finishing move players can use at the end of a fight against a defeated opponent that involves a violent and deadly action. Learning the several Fatality tricks provided by the game is relatively simple.
  1. Turning the Fatality Time On/Off

    • Turn the Fatality time on or off by quickly performing the following moves in quick succession at the story screen: block, high kick, low kick, run, low punch, high punch, high punch, high punch, low punch, low punch. A noise will sound if you entered the code properly and a red question mark menu will be become available.

    Enabling a One-Button Fatality

    • Activate the ? box to enable a one-button Fatality. To do so, press "Up," "C," "D," "B" on the Options menu. This extra button will enable not only the one-button option for Fatality, but also one-button options for Brutality, Babality and Friendship. For the one-button Fatality, press the "B" button after you've defeated an opponent.

    Entering a Fatality

    • Drain your opponent's life bar. When you hear the words "Finish Him/Her," move to an appropriate distance, tap "Up," holding a block to keep from jumping, and then enter your character's fatality code. You will have about five seconds to perform the move. This is the standard Fatality move.

    Extra Fatality Moves

    • Learn extra Fatality moves for various characters. When playing with Johnny Cage, punch three heads off instead of the standard one by pressing the buttons for a high punch, block and low punch simultaneously.
