Visit the Wiikey web page (see Resources) and click "Downloads." Click on "Members."
Create a Wiikey account if you don't have one; if you do, just log in. Choose "WBFS Manager" and "USA." Click the "Get this file" link associated with your Windows operating system.
Agree to the terms and conditions by inserting a check-mark in the agreement box. Click the "Download" button. After you finishing downloading, locate the file and unzip it. Locate the folder "wbfsmanager_4_0," open it and double-click "Set up." Install WBFS Manager by clicking the "Next" button.
Go back to the Wiikey web page and click "Downloads." Find and select your Wiikey product and select "USA." Click on "Get this file."
Insert an SD cared in your computer. Right-click the SD card's icon in WBFS Manager and select "FAT32" under the "File System" heading. If you are using Windows Vista or 7, select the "FAT" option. Afterwards, click "Start."
Click "Load," find the update file you previously downloaded and click "Open." Click "Add to Drive" and click "OK," to send the update onto the SD card.
Eject the SD card from the computer and insert it in the Wii system. Click on the "GameCube" logo in the menu, press the "Reset" button and browse through the list until you see the update. Select the update. Press "Reset" and hold the button down to reset the system. After the Wii system starts up, click the "GameCube" logo in the menu again. The update is now in effect.
