Instructions
Plug the black and silver end of the AV cable into the back of your Sega Saturn console. The slot for this plug is located at the rear of the console on the right-hand side if you are looking at it from behind.
Plug the opposite end of the AV cable into your television's AV connections. Plug the yellow wire into the yellow connection labeled "Video In." The red and white cords will connect into the red and white "Audio In" connections of your TV.
Connect the power cord to the back of your Sega Saturn. The plug will be located at the rear of the system just above the AV cord. Plug the other end of the power cord into your wall power outlet or a surge protector.
Plug your game pad into the front of your system. You can use the standard controller that is included with the system for any game in your connection, or you can also use a joystick or light-gun accessories. The backside of the game boxes will indicate which peripherals are compatible with the game in question.
Hit the "Open" button that is located directly in front of the CD tray to open the lid, allowing you to place your game disc into the system. Close the lid and hit the "Power" button that is located just to the left of the "Open" button.
Ensure that you are using the proper controller for the game you have inserted into your Sega Saturn console. The standard controller can be used with all games, but the back of the game box will display icons for which other controllers, such as light guns, can be used to optimize your gaming experience.
Look at the back of the game box and read the bottom row to determine if the game allows for multiple players. If it does you can plug up to two controllers into the front of your Saturn console. Up to two six-player adapters also can be plugged into the Saturn, allowing for as many as 10 simultaneous players for games such as Bomberman.
