How to Make an N64 Smash Bros Co-Op

Released in 1999, Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64 was the first time gamers saw various iconic Nintendo characters, such as Mario and Kirby, go head-to-head in a multi-player fighting game. Although viewed by many as a party game, in which up to four players can battle it out in a free-for-all, Super Smash Bros also features the ability for players to team up. In doing so, Super Smash Bros can also be a cooperative strategy game.

Assign teams by clicking on the the box above the character's icon and setting to either "blue," "red," or "green." For example, if four players wanted to have a two vs. two battle, two players would assign their characters to one color, such as red, while the other two players would use another color, such as green.
