How to Get the Hylian Shield in Ocarina of Time

The Nintendo 64 title "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" puts you in the shoes of Link, who must rescue Princess Zelda from her kidnapper, Ganondorf. The fairy Navi, who provides hints along the way, will help you. Early in the quest you must find the Hylian Shield, which will help Link repel many enemy attacks in this classic Zelda title.

     Head to the southeast part of Link's home, Kakariko Village. Take the entrance here to the graveyard.

     Look for the one grave in this graveyard that has flowers on it.

     Pull on the gravestone at this grave to reveal a hole. Drop into it.

     Open the treasure chest to claim the Hylian Shield.
