How to Get All the Songs in Zelda

Music plays a major role in the video game "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time." The protagonist Link has to learn melodies that have a seemingly magical influence on his surroundings and an emotional impact on characters around him. There are 12 songs for Link to learn that are usually taught to him by pivotal characters, but they can come from other sources.

Instructions

    • 1

Approach the character Impa after Link's first encounter with Princess Zelda to be taught "Zelda's Lullaby."

    • 2

Run through the maze in the Lost Woods and find Saria sitting outside the Forest Temple. She will teach Link the melody "Saria's Song."

    • 3

Find Malon in the pasture of Lon Lon Ranch, where she will teach you "Epona's Song." Playing it will draw the horse Epona to you.

    • 4

Enter the tomb at the far end of the Kakariko Village graveyard. Kill the bats in the first room and the undead zombies in the next to reach the "Sun's Song", which is engraved in rock. Link only needs to approach it to learn the song automatically.

    • 5

Speak to the guru in Kakariko's windmill. The guru will rant about a boy who played the "Song of Storms" and teach it to you.

    • 6

Dive into the moat outside the Hyrule Market to retrieve the ocarina that Zelda throws into it. Finding it will trigger a scene in which Zelda telepathically teaches Link the "Song of Time."

    • 7

Approach temples to learn melodies that transport Link to their location. The exceptions are the Temple of Light, where the melody is taught in the temple, and the Water Temple, where the melody is taught at the far end of the Ice Caverns after Link defeats a white Wolfos.
