How to Play Saria's Song in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The 3D action role-playing game "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" debuted on the Nintendo 64 console in November 1998. The Ocarina in the title refers to an instrument that you play to travel to different areas of the kingdom of Hyrule and access different parts of the game. You learn Saria's Song from Saria in the Secret Meadow early on in the game. You can use the Ocarina to play Saria's Song, giving you the ability to communicate with her throughout the game.

     Press "Start" to open the inventory subscreen.

     Press the "Control Stick" to highlight the Ocarina.

     Press "C Left," "C Right" or "C Up" to designate that button as the Ocarina action button.

     Press "Start" to exit the inventory subscreen.

   • 5

     Press the Ocarina action button.

   • 6

     Press "C Left + C Up + C Right + C Left + C Up + C Right" to play Saria's Song.
