Remove the cover from the back of the InteracTV remote with a screwdriver. Place 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment, return the cover to the back of the remote and screw the cover back in place. Insert the "Set-Up" card that came with the InteracTV remote into the slot on the remote.
Move the switch above the battery compartment to the number that you want to program. InteracTV remote can be synced for use on up to three separate DVD players. Use the label on the back of the remote to keep track of which position on the remote is synced to which DVD player.
Place the DVD labeled "Set-Up" that is provided with the InteracTV into the DVD player to which you want to sync the remote. Press "Play" on the player to begin playing the setup instructions. The setup provides a brief overview of the proper installation process. Once you have watched the overview, stop the DVD and turn off the player.
Set the InteracTV remote on a table with the remote to the DVD player, so that the front of the InteracTV remote and the player remote are pointed toward each other. The InteracTV website recommends setting them at a distance of 3 inches. Once the remotes are lined up, audio instructions play from the InteracTV remote, leading you through the entire setup.
Take the setup card out of the InteracTV remote and put the "Test" card into the remote. Turn on the DVD player with InteracTV in it and choose "Test Your Controller" with the player's remote. Follow the on-screen instructions to test the InteracTV remote with the player.
Insert any InteracTV gaming disc into the player, if the remote tests OK with the unit. Follow the directions provided with the game to play.
