How to Use Weapons in Super Nintendo Batman Forever

Batman

  Select Batman on the character select screen. You will have the batarang, grappling hook and sonic pulsebombs as your default weapons for every mission. Use the directional pad and press the "B" button to select your two optional weapons which you can switch before each mission. Press "Start" to begin a mission.

  Press "Down" on the directional pad and roll your thumb "Forward," then press "A" to throw a batarang. Press the "Select" button to shoot a grappling hook and swing forward, or press "Select" and "Up" to climb to higher levels with it. Press "Down," "Forward" and then "B" to throw a sonic pulseglobe.

  Press "Forward" and roll to "Down" and then press "A" to shoot a smoke pellet. Press "Forward" and roll to "Down" and then press "X" to shoot a flash pellet. Press "Forward," "Down," "A" to shoot an electric pellet. Press "Down," "Down," "A" to throw a bat bola to tie up enemies temporarily. Press "Down," "Forward," "A" to shoot gas.

  Press "Forward," "Down," "B" to shoot slippery goo to trip up enemies. Press "Down," "Down," "X" to shoot sticky goo to stick them to the floor. Press "Down," "Down," "Down," "B" to throw a ball to the floor that creates a force wall to block enemies. Hold "L" to block and press "A" repeatedly to activate cape morph; a stronger cape.

Robin

  Select Robin on the character select screen. You will have the batarang, extending staff and staff charges as your default weapons. Use the directional pad and "B" button to select two optional weapons. Press "Start" to begin a mission.

  Press "Down" on the directional pad and roll to "Forward," then press "A" to throw a batarang. Press the "Select" button and "Forward" to shoot the extending staff forwards, or press "Select" and "Up" to climb. Press "Down," "Forward" and "Y" to throw a staff charge.

  Press "Forward," "Back," "Forward," "Back," "A" to activate your heat weapon. Press "Forward," "Down," "A" to shoot tranquilizer darts. Press "Down," "Down," "A" to throw a bat bola. Press "Down," "Down," "Forward," "Y" to prod enemies with your electric staff. Press "Forward" and roll to "Down," then press "A" to throw smoke pellets.

  Press "Forward," "Down," "B" to shoot slippery goo. Press "Back," "Forward," "Y" to throw wrist rivets. Press "Back", "Forward," "Forward," "X" to shoot a sonic blast. Hold "L" to block and press "Y" repeatedly to activate a force shield.
