How to Use the Dunk Code in NBA Jam

"NBA Jam" was made in 1994 for the original Sega Genesis system. It was popular for its exciting game play methods that featured showcase dunks and turbo charger performances. Codes or "cheats" can be enacted to allow the player to dunk anytime from anywhere on the floor. These codes have to be entered with the controller before the game action starts.

Instructions

    • 1

      Push "Play Now" on the game's initial menu. Pick teams and advance through the options screen. Wait until the "Tonight's Matchup" screen to enter your code.

      Rotate your thumb around the D-pad once, moving clockwise from the up button, to the right, down and left buttons without lifting your thumb.

      Press the center "B" button on the remote 13 times. Do not press any other buttons until the screen goes past the "Tonight's Matchup" page. The code will be in effect when you begin play.
