How to Find Crystal Caves in Donkey Kong 64

"Donkey Kong 64" is an action and adventure game for the Nintendo 64 video game console that features characters from the popular "Donkey Kong" video game series. In the game you must play in the three-dimensional levels of DK Island in order to defeat the evil crocodile, named King K. Rool, from destroying the area. To access new levels you must collect bananas that are scattered throughout the game, and you must receive keys after defeating bosses in each level.

Instructions

  Start the game in "Adventure" mode and make it to the fifth level of the game, "Fungi Forest."

  Beat the fourth boss in the Fungi Forest level and you will receive the boss key needed to get to Crystal Caves.

  Return to DK Island and then walk to the K. Lumsy's prison area. Jump into a tag barrel on your way to the prison and switch to play as Tiny Kong.

  Go inside the prison and walk up to the fifth lock. Press the "B" button to enter the door and a cannon will appear. The ear on Mount Donkey will crumble once the door is open.

  Walk up the crumbled ear and go into the entrance. You will then enter the Crystal Caves level if you have 65 bananas or more.
