Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose your crops. Decide what ratio to purchase corn and tomatoes in. Corn sells for more, but it takes longer to grow so you'll produce less of it. Tomatoes sell for less, but grow quickly. A long growing season means your crop is more likely to fall victim to a natural disaster, thereby increasing the financial risk of growing corn. Next, go to the seed store in town and purchase either tomatoes, corn or both. Do not purchase any other crop.
Plant your crops. Clear a long rectangle that's three tiles wide anywhere on your farm. Make sure you can destroy all the obstacles in your way before starting this line, as one indestructible object will result in less efficient crop harvesting. Next, use the hoe to till the top and bottom areas of your rectangle. Make sure to leave a path open, to make watering and harvesting easy. Then spread the seeds to get your crops started.
Maintain and harvest your crops. Use your sprinkler to water your plants every day. Bring your horse close to your plants and harvest your crops. Make sure to give the produce to your horse to carry, rather than running your crops to the drop box yourself, to save time.
