Ninja Gaiden
"Ninja Gaiden" has long been a staple of the Ninja genre. Originally known as "Ninja Ryukenden" in Japanese, this game is available for the Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles. The most critically acclaimed version of the game is "Ninja Gaiden Black" and the Xbox game also comes with the arcade version as an extra feature.
The Last Ninja
"The Last Ninja" is is game that pays homage to Shinobi, in that it has similar stop action sequences. The story is based in 16th century Japan. It's a combination of complex puzzle solving and action adventure sequences. If you have played Shinobi or Max Payne you will be familiar with how this game utilizes stop action gameplay, in addition to real time gameplay to enhance fighting sequences.
Naruto
"Naruto Rise of a Ninja" is a game that was targeted towards Pokemon fans. The graphics are cartoon oriented, but the action sequences pay homage to the Dragon Ball Z games. The martial arts resembles more of a Street Fighter format in that the game has a one on one fighter format.
Ninja Blade
"Ninja Blade" is set in modern day Tokyo, which allows the 3D graphics of the game display actual Tokyo Skyscrapers as settings for fight scenes. Unique features of this game include the use of acute ninja vision to see the weak points of enemies, hidden paths and the ability to use swift and silent fatal attacks.
