Instructions

    • 1

Carefully slide the knife into the spot between the screen and the plastic body. Gradually apply pressure and wiggle the knife up and down until the sticky glue that holds the screen in place gives.

    • 2

Move the knife to a second corner and slide it between the screen and plastic body. Wiggle the knife around until the screen gives and repeat this every couple of inches until you can lift the entire screen up out of the plastic body of the Sega Nomad.

    • 3

Use a piece of Scotch tape to remove any hair or debris that fell into the Sega Nomad. Do not press down on the LCD crystals. Simply slide the sticky side of the tape along the LCD screen so that it catches anything that shouldn̵7;t be inside.

    • 4

Place a small amount of the assembly glue that normally comes with the replacement Sega Nomad screens along the plastic lip around the LCD screen. Be careful not to let any get on the actual screen itself. If you do not have access to the assembly glue use some carpenter̵7;s glue.

    • 5

Slide the replacement screen down into the slot, pressing it secure against the plastic body. Wrap a rubber band around the Sega Nomad so that it is holding the screen into the plastic body. Wrap the rubber band as many times as it takes to keep the screen pressed into the system and set it aside so the glue can dry.

    • 6

Take off the rubber bands and hold the system upside down to make sure that the screen does not fall out. If the screen falls out you will need to either push it back in and give the glue longer to dry or apply more glue to the inside lip of the screen.
