Streets of Rage
Though the popular ̶0;Streets of Rage̶1; franchise doesn̵7;t feature your typical ninja hero, the martial arts and ninja-like tactics used in this fighting game cannot be denied. ̶0;Streets of Rage̶1; parts one and two were released on January 1, 1991 and December 30, 1992 respectively. Ninja Gaiden
The ̶0;Ninja Gaiden̶1; franchise is perhaps best known for its games on the original NES console, but some titles were also brought to Sega. The original ̶0;Ninja Gaiden̶1; was released for the Sega Master System on February 1, 1989, and while this was nothing more than a re-worked version of the NES game, it was well-received by Sega fans. Since this was originally meant for the Sega Master System, the Genesis/Mega Drive adapter, also known as the ̶0;Power Base Converter̶1; is necessary to play this title on your Sega Genesis.
Double Dragon
Originally released in the United States on December 31, 1988, ̶0;Double Dragon̶1; revolves around the stories of Billy and Jimmy Lee and their attempt to rescue Billy̵7;s girlfriend from a gang known as the Black Warriors. Featuring tons of martial arts-style game play, ̶0;Double Dragon̶1; is another classic title that satisfied that nagging ninja-game itch that was so prevalent amongst gamers in the late 80s and early 90s. Note that because this is originally a title for the Sega Master System that you will need the Genesis/Mega Drive adapter, also known as the ̶0;Power Base Converter̶1; in order to play this on your original Sega Genesis.
