Nintendo's 2005 GameCube video game "Mario Superstar Baseball" allows players to play baseball using a variety of classic Nintendo characters including Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Yoshi and many more, each with different stats, strengths and weaknesses. Every character can perform a Star Swing or Star Pitch, which enhances their swing or pitch. Additionally, several characters can perform a body check when running that knocks a player off of a base in order to get to safety.

When forming teams, select at least one of these players: Birdo, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Hammer Bro (any variety), Petey Piranha, Toad (any color) or Wario.

Play the game until one of these characters is at bat.

Hit the ball and run for base. While running, hold the "B" button to dash. When approaching a base, your character should bodycheck the player on base.
