Dragon Quest 6 Cheats

Dragon Quest 6, a roleplay action game (RPG) released for the Super Famicon, allows players to take control of a group of characters, who use skills and magic spells to level up their strength and class. Several cheats, which can be activated by using the Pro Action Replay console (for installation information for the console, see resource 1), can help players defeat enemies more quickly.

Max Gold Cheat
- Turn the Pro Action Replay console on and enter "D244-7D24". Exit the console, allow the game to load, and choose any save file. Go to a vendor and sell any item. The item will be sold for 999,999 gold.
Instant Kill Cheat
- Turn the Pro Action Replay console on and type in the code "6D57-8D06" on the first line. Type in "DB57-8D66" on the second line. Exit the console, let the game load, and choose a game file where a character has the skill "Poison Needle" learned. Enter any battle and have the character use that skill. Poison Needle will hit the enemy's weak spot, causing immediate death.
Job Mastery Cheat
- Enter "C2B2AD00" and "C2B29400 C2B3078B" in the Pro Action Replay console and start the game. Select any game file to play. Enter battle and kill all of the enemies. The battle will automatically be rated "Good Enough" and the first character will master his job, learning all of the skills associated with that job.
