Unlockables

• To play as hidden characters, go to the "enter initials" screen. For Bill Clinton, hold the start button and enter letter C using the A button, enter letter I, hold start again and enter letter C using the B button ("CIC"). For Hillary Clinton, enter letter H, hold start and enter letter C using the B button. Then release the start button and enter a space (HC_). For Larry Bird, hold start and enter B using the A button, R with button C and D with button A (BRD). For Will Smith hold start and enter letter W with button C, I with button B, then let go of start and enter L (WIL). For the Chicago Bulls mascot, hold start and enter the letter B by pressing B, enter N, and then hold start again and enter the letter Y with button C (BNY).

Tonight's Match Up

• A couple dozen cheats can be accomplished at the "Tonight's Match Up" screen. The most popular are as follows: hit down, right, right, B, A, left to always be on fire. Hit B, B, B, A, down, down, up, left for infinite turbo. Hit right, right, left, right, B, B, right for maximum power. Hit up, up, up, up, left, left, left, left, B, A for juice mode. Hit up, right, right, left, A, down, left, left, right, B to enable teleport pass.

Expand Rosters

• NBA Jam is first played with only 2 players on a given team, but Tournament Edition allows a cheat that expands the rosters so you can play with other NBA stars. Enter this code at the title screen to enable expanded rosters: Start, C, up, down, B, left, A, right, down, Start.
