Power-Ups

• There are countless power-ups that can be unlocked with the proper cheat codes. To enter these codes, put in the following button presses at the "Match Up" screen (Note: These codes are for SEGA Genesis):

  Power-Up Dunks--Left, Right, A, B, B, A

  Power-Up 3-Pointers--Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Down, Up

  Power-Up Goaltending - Right, Up, Down, Right, Down, Up

  Power-Up Offense--A, B, Up, A, B, Up, Down

  Power-Up Defense--Down, Right, A, B, A, Right, Down

  Maxed-Out Power--Right, Right, Left, Right, B, B, Right

Expanded Rosters

• If you don't have the time (or inclination) to play against each and every team to unlock their expanded rosters, enter the following cheat at the game's start screen (the screen that reads "NBA Jam: Tournament Edition"):

  Start, C, Up, Down, B, Left, A, Right, Down, Start

  If entered correctly, you will find that every team has its expanded roster unlocked when you go to the team selection screen.

Celebrity Characters

• There are several hidden characters in addition to the expanded rosters. These characters are only unlocked by entering certain initials in particular manners inside the profiles menu:

  Will Smith--To unlock Will Smith (credited as "The Fresh Prince"), press and hold the Start button. Holding the Start button down, use the D-Pad to navigate to the letter "W" and press the C button. Now move the cursor to the letter "I" and press the B button. Release start and select the letter "L" with any of the buttons to unlock The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

  DJ Jazzy Jeff--To unlock The Fresh Prince's musical collaborator, press and hold the Start button. Now enter the letter "J" with the C button, followed by entering the letters "A" and "Z" with the A button before releasing Start.

  Bill Clinton--To unlock the 42nd President of the U.S., first press and hold the Start button. Holding Start, select letter "C" with the A button. Now release the Start button and select the letter "I". Hold Start again and select the letter "C" with the B button.

  Hillary Clinton--To unlock Bill Clinton's wife and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, enter the letter "H" before pressing and holding the Start button. Holding the Start button down, select the letter "C" with the B button before releasing the Start button and selecting a space.
