How to Create Your Own Mega Man Hero Online

Open up a computer drawing program on your computer such as "Paint" or "PhotoShop." All your editing for your Mega Man hero will be done in this window.

Visit a Mega Man sprite website such as Sprites INC. These websites feature the character models and effects for every Mega Man game released on consoles.

Choose the sprite you wish to use as the structure of your own character. You can choose any version of Mega Man or use one of the series' many bosses. Save the image and open it up in your drawing program.

Alter the colors on your hero to suit your own tastes. You can use brighter colors to lighten up some of the game's bosses or apply a darker color palette to Mega Man or Zero to create anti-heroes.

Select images of other sprites, using their specific parts. Combine parts of Stone Man and Napalm Man, or add bionic additions to Dr. Wily. Save these images and open them up inside your drawing software.

Crop the portions of the image you wish to use and copy them onto your hero. There are several poses found for each character, so choose the one that will best match your hero once you've cut and pasted the pieces.

Add a background for your hero using existing game screens or by creating your own. Now add an enemy into the scene, and you will have a complete Mega Man hero.

Use your created Mega Man character as an icon on message boards or as part of any online communities you participate in.
