Things You'll Need
Instructions
Search for reference shots of the castle. Princess Peach's castle featured prominently in Super Mario 64 as well as the Smash Bros. series. Obtain photos from several angles for a full view of the castle's layout.
Draw the entrance of the castle first. Princess Peach's castle features a bridge that leads up to an archway. Within the archway is a set of double doors that leads into the castle.
Expand the drawing from the entrance. Above the main archway is a glass stained-glass portrait of peach set into an arch. This arch is then bordered by a pointed arch.
Draw the front of the castle by drawing two lines horizontally outwards from the entrance. The front of the castle features a flat front which then becomes two towers, one on each side of the castle.
Draw the towers so they do not extend beyond the height of the central, pointed arch. Atop each tower is a triangular flag.
Create a three-dimensional look to the castle by extending the drawing to the rear of the castle. Because Peach's castle has a box-like shape, you can create the side and rear walls using straight lines.
Add one additional tower to each of the castle's rear corners. These should resemble the front towers in terms of height as well as decoration.
Draw the castle's central tower directly in the middle of the castle roof. There are two tiers to the tower, a wide cylindrical tower with smaller tower directly on top.
Color in the castle using light gray for the brick and red or orange for the roofing tiles. The picture of Peace should be colored with her hair yellow and her dress pink.
Add in details for the castle grounds. The front half of the castle is surrounded by water, while a path runs along the banks of the moat. Add in additional trees and don't forget a warp pipe so Mario can visit the Mushroom Kingdom.
