How to Scout Metal Slimes

  Return to the Overworld after receiving Godbird's Soul in Dark Empycchu. The area with the Metal Slimes is not accessible until you are able to fly, which is fairly late in the game.

  Fly south of the Dragon Graveyard and land on the plateau. Equip Angelo and the Hero with Falcon Blades. Wait until nighttime and use Yangus' whistle ability to enter a battle. Battles with Liquid Metal Slimes are very common in this area.

  Flee from the battle if faced with common enemies. If you are facing Metal Slimes, Liquid Metal Slimes or Metal King Slimes, begin by selecting the Hero to use Metal Slash and for Angelo to use Falcon Slash. Remember to focus on a single Slime.

  Command Yangus to use the Timbrel of Tension if you have one. If not, one can be easily constructed in the alchemy pot.

  Attack the Slime with Jessica's Queen's Thong ability. By now at least one Metal Slime should be defeated and your team should enjoy a massive experience boost. Repeat until your team reaches the desired experience level.
