What types of swords are there?
The Sword is your primary weapon in the game. The first Sword (often called the Wooden Sword) is given to you at the beginning. You can get the White Sword once you have five hearts and the Magic Sword once you have 12 hearts.
What items can I get?
There are other items you need and can buy from the many Overworld stores. These include the Magic Shield, a candle, bombs, arrows, medicine and the Blue Ring. Other items, like the Power Bracelet and five Heart Containers, are hidden throughout the Overworld.
What is the Underworld?
The Underworld labyrinth entrances are scattered throughout the Overworld. The first eight labyrinths each have a weapon or item you need (like the Bow, Whistle, Raft and Ladder), a Boss monster with a Heart Container you must defeat and a Triforce piece the monster guards.
Why won't these doors open?
Many doors in the Underworld require keys to get in. There are also doors you can't open unless you accomplish some task that involves defeating all monsters and/or pushing a certain block in the room.
What types of bosses are there?
Some Boss monsters can be beaten with the Sword alone, while others require other weapons or items. Dodongo can be beaten with bombs, Digdogger requires the Whistle and only the Bow and Arrow can defeat Ghoma.
How do I access Level Nine?
You can't enter Level Nine until you have all eight Triforce pieces. Inside Level Nine, you must find the Silver Arrow to defeat Ganon and rescue Princess Zelda.
