Play through the game until the main character is convicted of kidnapping and is thrown into the dungeon of Guardia Castle. Pound on the bars of your cell until the guards come in and then knock them out and take their weapons. Run through the east passageway and then enter the hole in the wall. Climb up the side of the tower into the top cell and take the Lode Sword found inside. Equip the sword on the main character and then go back down the wall into the hallway.
Head through the hallway and go east until you find the walkway that leads to the second tower.
Walk to the end of the walkway to initiate the fight with the dragon tank boss. Have the character named Chrono use his sword to attack the tank's head and have the character named Lucca fire her gun at the head as well.
Continue using normal physical attacks on the tank's head until it explodes. Have Chrono use his special ability called "Cyclone" to attack both the tank's body and tracks at the same time.
Choose the menu option to have Lucca use healing items on Chrono whenever he is struck by the tank's laser beam twice in a row. Switch to having Lucca use her "Flame Toss" spell to strike both of the tank's parts on any round of combat that she doesn't use a healing item. Deal a total of 200 damage to the body and tracks of the tank to defeat it.
