The Legend of Zelda is one of the most beloved games for the classic Nintendo Entertainment System. If you were a kid in the 1980s you probably remember playing The Legend of Zelda at some point. Undertaking the trials of Link as he tries to rescue the Princess Zelda from the evil clutches of Ganon is just as exciting now as it was then. If you want to return to the most classic version of Hyrule, it is possible, even without an NES. All you need is an internet browser with the Flash plug in and a fast internet connection and you can play anytime.

     Go to The Legend of Zelda. (See Resources)

     Click inside of the game window to start.

     Press "Enter" on the keyboard to start. "Enter" is the Start button. "Ctrl" is the Select button. "X" is the Sword. "Z" is whatever weapon you assign to it . The arrow keys control Link's movement.

     Press "Enter" to register your name. Use "'X" to select the letters. "Z" moves forward one space. "Ctrl" allows you to scroll between the three saved game slots. Once you are finished press "Ctrl" until you get to "Register." Press "Enter."

     Press "Enter" again to began the game. Remember to go into the cave in the upper left hand corner first. That is where you get Link's first sword.
