How to Get the Moon Armor in “Chrono Trigger”

Towards the end of the Super Nintendo role-playing game Chrono Trigger, you will be able to find a series of high-powered items locked away in sealed black boxes. The Moon Armor is in one of these boxes in an ancient ruin called the Hero's Grave.

Things You'll Need

Chrono Trigger game (SNES or PS1 Version)

Instructions

  Reach the point in the game where your party gets the time-traveling flying ship.

  Use the ship to travel back in time to the year 600 A.D.

  Land the ship near the village called Choras and hire the local carpenter to repair the ruins to the north of the village called the Hero's Grave.

  Go to the northeastern room inside the Hero's Grave and examine the sealed black box. Choose to leave the box closed and then get back into the ship and travel to the year 1,000 A.D.

  Go inside the Hero's Grave again and open up the sealed box to receive the Moon Armor.
