How to Play Contra for Free Online

While originally an arcade game, Contra gained most of its popularity after it was ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System. If you no longer have your classic NES there's no need to worry. You can still play this classic game as long as you have an Internet connection.

Instructions

      Go to Contra online (see Resources).

      Wait for the game to load. It may take a few seconds.

      Click on the game screen with your mouse to activate the game.

      Press the Enter key on your keyboard to start the game.

      Use the arrow keys to move, X to jump and Z to shoot. Press Down to crouch. Press Up to shoot up. Press Up and Right or Left to shoot up at an angle. Press Down and Right or Left to shoot down at an angle.
