How to Get Robo's Best Weapon in Chrono Trigger

There are several side quests available in Chrono Trigger that end in the party receiving the ultimate weapon for a specific character. Robo's quest will take him into the future to battle a computer gone haywire that is programming robots to destroy humanity.

Things You'll Need

Chrono Trigger Game (SNES or PS1 version)
SNES or PS1 game console

Instructions

  Reach the point in the game where the time traveling Epoch is modified to have wings so that it can be used as a means of transportation.

  Get in the Epoch and travel to the year 2300 A.D. Put Robo in your party and then fly to the island with a single factory on it called the "Geno Dome." It should be south and then east of the main domes that the party went to earlier in the game.

  Land the Epoch on the island and enter the factory. Put Robo at the front of the party and have him examine the computer screen. He will override the security system and open the door so that you can go inside.

  Walk onto the conveyor belt, which will propel you forward and force the party into fighting four battles in a row.

  Make your way through the dome, using the electric currents to unlock doors so that you can get the two dolls on the first floor needed to unlock the door on the second floor.

  Go to the second floor once you have both of the dolls. A robot named Atropos will come and attack the party. Robo will fight this battle on his own, so make sure you have him well equipped and that he has the best tech attacks he can at this point.

  Defeat Atropos in battle and then use the two dolls to unlock the large door. Inside you will have to fight the Mother Brain. Once she is defeated, Robo will receive the "Terra Arm," which is his best weapon in the game.
