How to Acquire the Witch Deneb in Ogre Battle

A misguided witch who agreed to work with the evil wizard Rashidi in order to be able to continue her depraved experiments, Deneb is one of the first low-alignment units you can add to your armies if you are following the path of evil in Ogre Battle. Her stun ability coupled with the powerful attacks of her animated pumpkin companions make her a worthy addition to your rebellion.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the opening levels of the game until your rebellion reaches the area marked on the map as Deneb's Garden. It will be easier to recruit Deneb if you answer the wizard Warren's questions with only selfish answers and keep your reputation low.

  Deploy an army to defeat Deneb in battle at the enemy base. Once the battle is done, Deneb will plead with you to forgive her crimes and spare her life. Choose the dialog option to forgive her.

  Return to Deneb's Garden after completing the area, and send a unit to the enemy base. Deneb will appear and ask your armies to retrieve a "Golden Bough" for her.

  Travel to the Diaspola area, and send an army to the merchant city Raloshel to buy the Golden Bough.
- 5
  Go back to Deneb's Garden, and send a unit to the enemy base again. If you have the Golden Bough in your possession and your reputation is very low, Deneb will then offer to join your rebellion.
