How to Acquire Eagle Man Canopus in Ogre Battle

One of the earliest flying units that can be used in Ogre Battle, Canopus can be used to maneuver quickly around the battlefield at a much greater rate of speed than most other armies. He is also very useful for flying over walls or the large chasms in the floating island level that other armies will have to travel long distances to move around.

Instructions

  Destroy the Empire's forces in the firs two levels of the game and proceed to the Sharom District area.

  Liberate the various cities on the main landmass until you find one where a citizen tells your army about a hero named Canopus who used to be friends with Gilbert, the Zeteginian Empire's overseer in the region.

  Send a unit across the lake to the town called Bah'Wahl. Canopus will be there and he will ask your army why they fight against the Empire. Answer the question however you wish,because Canopus will not yet join the rebellion no matter which answer you choose.

  Return back to the city where the citizen first told you about Canopus. This time the citizen will mention that Canopus has a sister, but no one is sure where she is.

  Find the hidden Roshifallion temple at the South-West end of the area. Once the temple is liberated, Canopus' sister Yulia will tell your army about how Canopus and Gilbert had their falling out. She will ask you if you will help convince Canopus to fight again. If you answer in the affirmative, she will give you the "Wings of Victory" item and ask you to show it to Canopus.

  Take a deployed army back to the city where Canopus is staying with the "Wings of Victory" in your possession. Canopus will then join the rebellion.
