Unlike many games, Minecraft doesn't require you to install or integrate any components into your system. While this is good for disk space, the game doesn't appear on any lists of installed programs on your computer. This can lead to frustration if you don't know how to remove the game from your computer or do an uninstall/reinstall to solve issues such as freezing and crashing. Instead of using Windows' Add or Remove Programs function, you must delete the Minecraft folder to uninstall the game.
