How to Put Items Into Picture Frames on Minecraft

Picture frames not only add a decorative element to your dwellings in the game "Minecraft," but they can also be used to save space in your chests. After crafting a picture frame, you can place any item from your inventory into the frame. The frame with the item inside can then be rotated to display it the way you want.
You can create these item frames in both the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

Instructions

    • 1

Start a new game or load the saved game in which you want to use the picture frames.

    • 2

Right-click your crafting bench (PC) or press the "X" button (Xbox 360) to access the crafting screen.

    • 3

Place one piece of wood, which is gathered by chopping down trees, in the crafting section to create four planks.

    • 4

Place two of the planks in the crafting section to create four sticks. Repeat the process so that you have a total of eight sticks.

    • 5

Place one piece of leather, which is gathered by killing cows or horses, in the center of the crafting section, and then place eight sticks around it. Place the resulting frame in your inventory.

    • 6

Select the frame from your inventory. Right-click (PC) or press the left trigger button (Xbox 360) while facing any wall or block in the game to hang the empty frame.

    • 7

Select any item from you inventory, and face the empty frame. Right-click (PC) or press the left trigger button (Xbox 360) to place the item inside the frame.

    • 8

Right-click (PC) or press the left trigger button (Xbox 360) while facing the frame with the item inside to rotate the frame.
