How to Download the PowerCraft Factory Mod in Minecraft

The "PowerCraft Factory" mod for the PC version of "Minecraft" is a user modification that enhances the game with additional features. The mod adds new items such as conveyer belts and mining machines that enable you to automate farming and create your own factories in the game. The mod can be used in conjunction with other "Minecraft" mods. In order to use this mod with the game, you first need to install the Minecraft Forge application.

Instructions

Install Minecraft Forge

  Navigate to the Minecraft Forge downloads page (link in Resources) and click the "Universal" link next to the "Recommended-1.5.2" build of the program.

  Download the file to the "bin" folder of your "Minecraft" installation folder.

  Right-click the "minecraft.jar" file in the "bin" folder of your "Minecraft" installation folder and then select "Open with..." from the context menu.

  Select a program such as WinRAR, WinZIP or 7-ZIP (links in Resources) that can open archived files to view the contents of the JAR file.

  Delete the "META-INF" folder from the JAR file.

  Open the "Minecraft Forge" download using the same file archiver program you used to open the JAR file.

  Drag and drop the contents of the Minecraft Forge ZIP file into the JAR file.

  Close both files and then launch "Minecraft." Minecraft Forge will automatically start updating your game with the required files for mod support. If done correctly, you will see a new "Mods" button on the main menu of the game.
Download And Install "PowerCraft Factory"

  Navigate to the downloads section of the PowerCraft website (link in Resources) and click the download link for "PowerCraft for Forge."

  Save the "PowerCraft-Launcher" ZIP file to the "mods" folder of your "Minecraft" installation directory.

  Launch "Minecraft" and the PowerCraft update screen will appear. Select the folder where your browser downloads files and then click the "Select directory of downloaded files" button.

  Click "All" from the "Packs" section of the PowerCraft Update screen and then click "Download." This opens your browser and automatically starts the download.

  Click "Done" on the PowerCraft Update screen once the download is complete and then click "Mods" on the main menu of the game. If everything was done correctly the "PowerCraft" mod is shown on the mod list and is available for use with the game.
