How to Download & Install the Mummy Mod for Minecraft

̶0;Minecraft̶1; is a game about exploring your imagination and creating whatever you want to create, but sometimes the basic tools need some tweaking to turn the experience into exactly what you want it to be. There are numerous mods available for ̶0;Minecraft̶1; that add features, change tools and modify the game experience. One such mod, titled ̶0;Atum Mod,̶1; creates an all-new Egyptian adventure packed with mummies and other straight-from-the-crypt creatures.

Instructions

  Download and install Forge (see Resources). Forge is a third-party application that will assist you in installing ̶0;Minecraft̶1; mods. Click ̶0;Installer̶1; to download the automatic Forge installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the install.

  Download the ̶0;Atum̶1; mod from Curse̵7;s ̶0;Minecraft̶1; page (see Resources).

  Open Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E). Press the ̶0;Alt̶1; key and click ̶0;Tools.̶1; Select ̶0;Folder Options.̶1;

  Click ̶0;View̶1; and check the bubble next to ̶0;Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives.̶1; Click ̶0;OK.̶1;

  Click your username in Windows Explorer and double-click the ̶0;AppData̶1; folder. Double-click the ̶0;Roaming̶1; folder.

  Open the ̶0;.minecraft̶1; folder and double-click the ̶0;Mods̶1; folder. Drag the ̶0;Atum̶1; .jar file into the Mods folder and launch ̶0;Minecraft.̶1;

  Create a gold scarab by combining four gold bars and one diamond. Build a sandstone portal and activate the portal with the golden scarab to teleport into Atum.
